Once we played hide-and-seek in the mall. it was amazing. we were on a team together with our other friend Anna, and we decided to hide under the bed in Macy’s. It was the PERFECT place!!

Getting under there without detection was tricky. We just sent one girl at a time, so a group of three girls were standing there gossipping, and then, there were only two. then there was only one. then there were none!

We called the other team to give them the clue and said, “Some may call us monsters.” and then we watched people’s shoes and planned our next clue to be “we see lots and lots of shoes” so that they would think we were in a shoestore.

however, a Macy’s woman came over and peeked underneath the bed.

we all stared at her in complete shock and silence, and this awkward moment lasted like 4 years. I’m not even joking.

Anyways, she made us get out, and a few others Macy’s staffers came over and they were like, OMG, and the woman said, “I expected to see a six-year-old down there, not three teenage girls!” and we stared at her and no one said anything

and then I yelled, “RUN AWAY!”

and we booked it out of the store.

I will never, ever forget that day, aliza. it was priceless.
